Since I was a child I have been fascinated with hair, skin, aromatherapy & the properties found in nature. So it was truly a harmonious fit to combine all those elements into what has become my passion. Each and every product is hand crafted, all natural & made with love. I'm sure you have heard that before... that this product or that product is "natural". Well truth be told very few on the market today are completely natural, free of synthetic ingredients such as chemicals, fragrances, parabens, preservatives, sulfates and petrochemicals. The word "natural" can be left up to an individual's interpretation, but I think we can agree that a man made or synthetic ingredient is not completely natural. As I began making products I actually went into various stores and went through the cosmetic sections to investigate. I did some research & armed with my list of synthetics/chemicals/toxins to stay away from I read multiple product labels even some that claimed to be natural. I was blown away at how hard it was to find a product that was free of dyes, mineral oil, petroleum jelly, sodium laureth sulfate(SLES), sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS), parabens, perfumes & fragrances. Even products marketed as "unscented" had perfumes/fragrances listed in the ingredient labels. I was curious as to "why" has it become almost an industry standard to use ingredients that are harmful or known irritants to humans. Well it all boils down to synthetic ingredients usually cost less than natural ingredients giving the mass-marketed national corporations a competitive advantage. So basically its just cheaper to mass produce cosmetic products with synthetics & chemicals.

My products are free from chemicals, parabens, preservatives, sulfates, and petroleum products. And because I only use natural preservatives, such as Vitamin E or Grapefruit Seed Extract, I do not mass produce the products,.. they are made in small batches. Another benefit to the products remaining all natural is they have multiple uses. For example, our Hair & Body Butters can be used on your hair, skin, scalp or all over your body and tend to work very well for people with sensitive or allergy prone skin. I am convinced that when you know better you do better, so I not only provide all natural products but I try to stay abreast of the latest info and bring that back to my consumers.
